Order 30/03/2026
1. The present review petition has been filed seeking review of the order dated 19.12.2025 passed by this Court on the ground that the petition was filed by the petitioner was only with regard to change of the headquarter from 'Bislai' to 'Bakya' and,
[2026:RJ-JP:13388-DB] (2 of 2) [WRW-26/2026] therefore, it would not fall within the four corners of the judgment passed by this Court in "Sheela Kumari Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors." (D.B. Civil Writ Petition No.7718/2025), decided on
14.11.2025.
2. Learned Senior Counsel submits that the judgment passed in the case of "Sheela Kumari" (supra), which has been applied while disposing of the writ petition was incorrect as the issue being raised before this Court was different.
3. Heard at length and examined the facts of the case.
4. We noticed that earlier the headquarter of the Panchayat was at Bislai which consisted of villages Bislai, Dhansuri, Bamboliya and Barana. After the delimitation exercise was conducted, villages Bislai, Dhansuri, Bamboliya, Barana and Bakya have been accepted in the Panchayat and the name of the Panchayat headquarter is Bakya. Thus, it comes within the four corners of the judgment passed by us in the case of "Sheela Kumari" (supra).
5. In view of the above, no interference is warranted. Accordingly, the present review petition seeking review of the
order dated 19.12.2025 is dismissed.
