Ajay Mohan Goel, J (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed, inter alia, for the following reliefs:- “i. Issue a writ of certiorari to quash transfer order dated 17.2.2026 and allow the petitioner to serve at Sister Nivedita Medical College IGMC Shimla, and/or. ii. Issue a writ of mandamus directed to respondent No.1 to adjust the petitioner at sister Nivedita Medical College IGMC Shimla till the completion of her daughter’ study. and/or. iii. Issue a writ of certiorari to quash the rejection order dated 7.4.2026 passed by respondent No.1.” 2. When this case was listed on 4.6.2026, the following order was passed:- 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? “Heard for some time. This Court is of the considered view that in the peculiar facts of this case, the respondents shall accommodate the petitioner Shimla at least till 10+2 examinations, which are to be conducted in March/April, 2027, are over and thereafter, de hors that the petitioner is to superannuate in the month of November, 2027, she shall be bound to serve the Department at Tanda. The petitioner can be accommodated at the said station against an incumbent who stands promoted at Shimla only. Learned Additional Advocate General to have positive instructions in terms of this order by the next date of hearing. List on 16.06.2026.” 3. Today, Mr. Rajpal Thakur, learned Additional Advocate General has handed over instructions received from Special Secretary (Health) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, dated 15th June, 2026, along with which Notification dated 9.6.2026 is also appended. On the strength of the instructions and the Notification, the Court stands informed that now the petitioner has been ordered to be adjusted at Sister Nivedita Government Nursing College, Shimla, w.e.f. the issuance of the Notification till 31.3.2027. 4. In the light of above, the instant petition is disposed with the observation that after 31.3.2027, the petitioner shall serve at the place, where she stands transferred by the authority.
