The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records in relates to the case of the petitioner from the possession of respondents for its kind perusal. 10. 2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus quashing the termination order dated 24.05.2023 passed by the Chief Medical and Health Officer/Respondent No. 4, the appellate order dated 30.05.2025 passed by the Divisional Joint Director/Respondent No. 3, and the forwarding letter dated 23.09.2025 issued by the Director/Respondent No. 2. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner to the post of Watchman with continuity of service, full back wages, allowances, and all consequential benefits from the date of termination dated 24.05.2023 till reinstatement, including interest at 9% per annum on arrears. 10.4 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to expunge all adverse remarks from the petitioner's service record related to the quashed orders and to conduct any future proceedings, if necessary, strictly in accordance with law and within a time-bound manner. 10.5 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief/relief's in favour of the petitioners, which the Hon'ble Court deemed fit & just in the facts and circumstances of the case, including awarding of the costs to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits, but is only seeking a direction to the Disciplinary Authority to take a fresh decision on the claim of the petitioner as directed by the Respondent No. 3 within a specified time frame. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State submits that in view of the limited prayer made by the counsel for petitioner, he is having no objection. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the documents placed on record. 3 5. On due consideration on the submission of counsel for the parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 4 to take decision on the letter dated 23.09.2025 (Annexure P/3) issued by the Respondent No. 3 in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of the order. 6.
