The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Jaridih PS Case No.88 of 2025, for offence registered under section 189(2), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 324(5), 326(g), 351(3) of BNS, 2023, pending in court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bermo at Tenughat. 3. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case alleging that the petitioners have put the dwelling house of the informant on fire and pursuant to that, the said house was destroyed. She next submits that the allegations are general and omnibus and so far as the lady- members are concerned, they have got no role, and in spite of that, they have been made accused. 4. Learned State counsel opposes the prayer and submits that there is serious allegation against the accused persons of putting the dwelling house of the informant on fire. 2026:JHHC:14704 2 5. Looking to the contents of the FIR, it transpires that there are general and omnibus allegations against all the accused persons and even the ladies family members have been made accused. However, the house of the informant has been put on fire and that allegation is there against the male members, and in the attending facts and circumstances of the present case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner nos.1,6,7 and 8, namely, Janki Devi, Champa Devi @ Chanda Devi, Urmila Devi and Reshmi Bala. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner nos.1,6,7 and 8, namely, Janki Devi, Champa Devi @ Chanda Devi, Urmila Devi and Reshmi Bala, are, hereby, directed to surrender before learned court within two weeks from today, and in event of their surrender/arrest, the petitioner nos.1,6,7 and 8, namely, Janki Devi, Champa Devi @ Chanda Devi, Urmila Devi and Reshmi Bala, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bermo at Tenughat, in connection with Jaridih PS Case No.88 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. 7. So far as the petitioner nos.2,3,4 and 5 are concerned, they are the male members and the allegations are there against them of putting the dwelling house of the informant on fire, and accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail in respect of the petitioner nos.2,3,4 and 5 namely, Chapar Singh @ Birendra Singh, Anand Singh, Kanhay Singh @ Kanhay Lal Singh and Madhu Singh @ Madhu Sudan Singh, respectively, is, hereby, rejected, and consequently, on their behalf, this anticipatory bail application is, hereby, dismissed.
