For the respondents : Mr. R.P Singh, Deputy Advocate General, for respondents Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has inter alia, prayed for the following relief:- “(i) That the petitioner join the service with the respondent in the year 1997 and performed the duties as Chain Man till 2003 and other employee those joined the respondent department with the petitioner in the year 1997 and further the respondent department re-engaged them in view of the order dated 29.04.2010 thus, prayed for the benefits of re-engagement at par with similarly situated persons in view of order 29.04.2010 as referred above in the interest of justice.” 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2. 2026:HHC:22133-DB 2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that let the petitioner approach the authorities afresh by way of a representation within four weeks from today and thereafter appropriate call be taken thereupon by the Competent Authority, in the light of the contents thereof, as also, the judgment being relied upon by the petitioner within 8 weeks from the date of receipt thereof. 3. It goes without saying that the authorities may give a sympathetic consideration to the request of the petitioner and it is also made clear that in case any indulgence is shown by the Department in favour of the petitioner, then the same will be prospective and the petitioner shall not claim anything retrospectively, be it seniority or any other relief.
