1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs.
“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court be pleased to kindly issue an appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the impugned allotment
order dated 02.01.2026 issued by Respondent No. 1 whereby the petitioner has been allotted posting at Government Medical College, Jagdalpur and direct the respondent No. 1 to issue fresh allotment letter to the petitioner in late Smt. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner while working as Junior Resident at Late Baliram Kashyap Memorial Government Medical College, Jagdalpur had submitted an application for pursuing Post Graduation course and she successfully completed it in the year 2025 in Community Medicine. She submits that as the petitioner is to be posted pursuant to the bond submitted by petitioner to work in the Government Hospital/ Medical Colleges for a period of 02 years, however, at the time of filling of form online for posting, appropriate options of choice filling were not available. She contended that petitioner was not intending to opt for Late Baliram Kashyap Memorial Government Medical College, Jagdalpur, however, she was allotted and posted in the said college at Jagdalpur. Aggrieved with which, petitioner submitted representation before Respondents No. 2 & 3. In the representation, petitioner has also mentioned that post in the Community Medicine is vacant at Govt. Medical College, Kanker and therefore, petitioner ought to be posted in the said college. She also submits that last date to join the place of posting is 16.01.2026 and therefore till decision on the representation, respondents be directed not to take coercive steps against petitioner.
3. Learned State counsel submits that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merit and only seeking direction to Respondents No. 2 & 3 to take decision on the representation, she is having no objection.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the documents placed on record.
5. On due consideration of the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance raised, this writ petition at this stage is
disposed of with a direction to Respondents No. 2 & 3 to take decision on the
3 / 3 representation of petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court.
6. It is for the petitioner to place copy of this order before the concerned authority within a period of 01 week from today.
7. Learned State counsel may also inform the authorities about the order passed by this Court.
8. Till decision on the representation is taken by Respondents No. 2 & 3, no coercive steps/ action be taken against petitioner.
9. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands
