It is the contention of the petitioner that the paternal uncle of petitioner late Sri.Doddaramaiah was granted 1 acre and 7 guntas of land in Sy.No.73 of Karim Sonnenahalli Village, Madure Hobli, Doddaballapura Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, in terms of Resolution dated 13.02.2012 passed by the Committee for regularisation of unauthorised occupation. However, Sagvali Chit was not issued in favour of the grantee. Therefore, the prayer in this writ petition is to issue necessary directions to the respondent No.2 - Tahsildar, Doddaballapura Taluk to issue Sagvali Chit in the name of the original grantee and thereafter consider the entry of the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14624 WP No. 6264 of 2026 3. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to the respondent No.2 - Tahsildar, Doddaballapura Taluk to verify from the records as to whether a resolution was passed by the Committee in favour of Sri.Doddaramaiah resolving to grant the lands in question. If it is found that such a resolution was indeed passed by the Committee, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to collect the kimmat from the legal heirs of late Sri.Doddaramaiah and issue Sagvali Chit in the name of the original grantee and thereafter consider entry of the name of the legal heirs of the grantee in the revenue records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
