This is an application seeking dispense of the personal appearance of the Chief Engineer, Highway, Public Works Department(PWD), Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar, as directed by this Court on 13.08.2026. 3. The Chief Engineer was directed to appear along with the Executive Engineer, Naharlagun Highway Division, Public Works Department, today. However, it is informed that the Chief Engineer, Highway, Public Works Department(PWD), Arunachal Pradesh, could not appear before this Court due to pre-schedule official engagement, for which, he had to proceed to New Delhi. Therefore, he seeks for dispensation of his personal appearance. 4. Having considered that in place of the Chief Engineer, Highway, Public Works Department(PWD), Itanagar; the Superintending Engineer, Highway, Public Works Department(PWD), is present along with the Executive Engineer, Naharlagun Highway Division, Public Works Department, Nirjuli, we deem it appropriate to dispense with the personal appearance of the Chief Engineer, Highway, Public Works Department(PWD), Itanagar, for the time being, as the status report along with the actual ground report is being placed by both the Officers present.
