Learned AGA raises a primary objection that the petitioners are seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent-Tahsildar to consider the representations given by the petitioners to remove the names of certain persons found in the RTC and show the name of the petitioners in their place. Learned AGA submits that such direction cannot be given by this Court. It is for the petitioners to file an appeal before the Assistant Commissioner under Section 136(2) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 questioning the mutation orders.
