No. 27520 of 2026 ORDER: This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed seeking to issue a writ, order or direction, more particularly one I the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not releasing the amount of Rs.15,02,693.94/- payable to the petitioner for execution of various works. 2. The case of the petitioner is that the respondent No.7 / Panchayat Secretary of Gobburu Gram Panchayat, Peddaraveedu mandal, conducted a general body meeting and unanimously approved the following works:- Sl. No. 27520 of 2026 The petitioner executed and completed the above entrusted works within the stipulated time. Though the respondent authorities were satisfied with the execution of work, but failed to release the payment within time. Hence, this writ petition was filed. 3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development placed on record a copy of the written instructions, dated 25.09.2026, wherein it was stated as follows:- “From Sl. Nos. 1, 2, 4, 5 & 8 works related to R.W.S. department and Sl. Nos.3, 6, & 7 related to Panchayat Raj department. The above works were completed in all aspects. The bills were already submitted to the Gram Panchayat, Gobburu of Pedda Ardhavedu mandal for making payment.” 4. The learned counsels for both the parties requested to dispose of the writ petition in the light of the written instructions. 5. Having regard to the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release the admitted amount of Rs.10,06,652/- (Ten Lakh six thousand six hundred and fifty two only) to the petitioner, along with interest as per the entitlement, within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
