Order On Board 22/01/2026
1. The petitioners have filled this petition seeking the following reliefs:-
“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire record concerning the issuance of the
order dated 09.02.2023 (Annexure P-1) from the respondents for its kind perusal. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass an appropriate order/writ quashing and setting aside the order dated 09.02.2023 (Annexure P-1).
3 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass an appropriate order/writ directing the respondent authorities to nominate the name of the petitioners as departmental candidates to pursue the Diploma in Animal Husbandry Course from the respondent university as against the 36 seats reserved for departmental candidates. 10.4 Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court, may deem fit and proper, in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Learned counsel for petitioners submits that in the year 2023 State of Chhattisgarh, Pashudhan Vikas Vibhag written a letter to the Director, Veterinary Services i.e. respondent No.2 intimating banning of selection of in-service candidates for pursuing the course of Veterinary Polytechnic Diploma Course and since then non of the employees have been granted permission to pursue that course. He submits that State Government has again written a letter to the respondent No.2 to give his consent or proposal with regard to relaxation of decision dated 09.02.2023, however, till date respondent No.2 has not sent his opinion on the letter dated 28.11.2025, therefore, direction be issued to respondent No.2 to express his opinion and send proposal to the State Government in this regard at the earliest within specific time frame.

Learned counsel for respective respondents submits that as petitioners are not pressing this petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to act upon letter written by State Government and to forward proposal as observed therein, they are having no objection.
4. On due consideration on the submission of learned counsel for respective parties, these petitions at this stage are disposed of
4 directing respondent No.2 to take decision on the letter dated 28.11.2025 of the State Government in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within further period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. It is ordered accordingly.
