This IA has been preferred seeking condonation of delay of 31 days in preferring the connected criminal appeal against the impugned Judgment & Order dated 14.05.2026 passed by the Fast Track Court, Kolasib District, Mizoram in SC(K) No. 15/2025. Page No.# 2/2 The reasons for the delay have been explained at paragraph Nos. 3 & 4 of the instant IA, which I have perused. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that she has no objection to the condonation of the delay of 31 days . Having regard to the above, I am satisfied that the petitioner was prevented by sufficient cause from preferring the appeal within the period of limitation. Accordingly, the delay stands condoned.
