Malhotra, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Ms. Ruth Lalruatfeli, learned counsel for the respondents. This interlocutory application has been filed seeking impleadment of the University Grants Commission representing by it’s Secretary. This application is filed in deference to the order dated 02.07.2026 passed in W.P(C) No. 10/2024 wherein the Court had considered that UGC would be necessary party and therefore, permitted the learned counsel for the applicant to take appropriate steps for impleadment of UGC as the respondent in the writ petition. Prayer made is not objected to by the learned counsel for the respondents. Accordingly, considering the order dated 02.07.2026 passed in W.P(C) No. 10/2024, this interlocutory application is allowed without issuing notice. The UGC represented by it’s Secretary is impleaded as respondent No. 4 in W.P(C) No. 10/2024.
