1. The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:-
“A. issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or
order or direction to respondents to update the status of petitioner institute and display its name in the list/category of recognised institutions for conducting B.Ed course with intake of 100 seats (two basic units) on their official website; and/or B. issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or
order directing respondents to inform Affiliating University and Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh communicating status of petitioner institution as recognized institution for conducting B.Ed course with This is a digitally signed order. 2. This order is being passed in view of a similar order dated 17.04.2026 passed in W.P.(C)5102/2026, covering the present issue. Based on the said order and using the same reasons and expressions, this order is being passed. 3. Mr. Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that petitioner No. 1 is a recognized institution conducting the B.Ed courses and recognition for conducting the said course was granted by the Northern Regional Committee vide order dated 11.08.2005. However, the respondents are not displaying the name of the College in the list of recognized institutions on their official website. Thus, the petitioners have approached this Court seeking to direct the respondents to update the status of the petitioner No.1 institute and display its name in the list of recognized institutions for the said course on their official website. He further points out that in the past, several orders have been passed by this Court issuing similar directions, copies of which have been filed along with the writ petition. 4. For the said reason, issue notice. 5. Mr. Rupal, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and, on instructions, states that the respondents have no objection to the present petition being allowed, subject to verification by the respondents. 6. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to verify the status of the petitioner institute and if upon verification the same is found to be a recognized institute, the This is a digitally signed order. respondents shall update the status on the website in the list of recognized institutions within 1 week.
Thereafter, communication to this effect shall be sent to the affiliating University (Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur) as well as the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, within a period of 1 week from the date the status is uploaded.
