Having considered that the other accused person has been granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 94 of 2026 and the fact that charges have already been framed in connection with the instant case, inspite of the objection being raised by the State, I am of the view that further detention of the present petitioner is unwarranted. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner viz, Sanjit Roy shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees 2 Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned Special Judge (under NDPS Act)-cum- Additional Sessions Judge, 3rd Court, Dakshin Dinajpur at Balurghat. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date so fixed by the learned Special court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of the district of Dakshin Dinajpur without prior permission of the learned Special Court. Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 61 of 2026 is allowed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
