The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Balumath P.S. Case No.111 of 2024, for offence registered under section 326(f), 308(2), 308(3), 308(4), 308(5), 285, 324(5), 111(2)(b), 111(4), 3(5), BNS, 2023 and Section 17 of Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.10 of the petition. By way of referring Annexur-2 series, which is Income tax return, the learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is a business man and he is regularly filing income tax return. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the 2026:JHHC:2960 2 name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement. 5. Considering that the mane of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.10 of the petition and the Annexure-2 series are the income tax return of the petitioner which prima facie fortifies the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and on query made by the Court from the learned counsel for the State, he fairly stated that the case diary is silent on the point of criminal antecedent, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within four weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar, in connection with Balumath P.S.
