It is the contention of the petitioner that the Committee for regularized unauthorised occupation - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8992 WP No. 4466 of 2026 considered the application filed by the petitioner in Form No.53 and passed a resolution on 03.03.2018 recommending grant of 1 acre 10 guntas of land in Survey No.63 of Bathiganahalli Village, Sulibele Hobli, Hoskote Taluk, Bangalore Rural District. Pursuant to the resolution passed by the Committee, the Tahsildar, Hoskote Taluk issued official memorandum fixing the upset price and the petitioner paid the upset price of Rs.2,315/-. On 22.03.2018 saguvali chit was also issued to the petitioner. However, the name of the petitioner is not entered in the revenue records. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Hosakote Taluk, to verify the records and find out if grant was made in favour of the petitioner, if the petitioner has paid the kimath and whether saguvali chit issued in favour of the petitioner. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8992 WP No. 4466 of 2026 The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
