The petitioner named above has been made accused in connection with Angara P.S. Case No. 69 of 2025 (S.T. No. 728 of 2025) for the offences registered under Sections 64(1), 64(2)(m), 351(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of the Additional Judicial Commissioner-XV, Ranchi. As per the FIR, the petitioner, who is aged 20 years, committed rape with the victim three years before lodging the case. It is alleged that the petitioner again committed rape with the victim on 08.03.2025. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the prosecutrix, aged 24 years, is a married lady having two children and no complaint was made with regard to first incident which took place three years ago. The relationship was consensual in nature and when the incidence became public, the case was lodged. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Court below.
