The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Hunterganj PS Case No.201 of 2024, for offence registered under section 274, 275 of the BNS, 2023, and section 47(A) of Excise Act, pending in court of learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the allegations are made on the auto foreign liquor in question was being carried. He further submits that the petitioner has got no concern with the said liquor as well as the said auto. He next submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.16 of petition. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement. 5. Considering that name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as aforesaid and it has been pointed out that the said auto is also not belonging to the petitioner and the petitioner has nothing to do with the said seized liquor and in that view of the matter, the petitioner, above named, is directed to surrender before learned court within two weeks from today and learned court shall release the petitioner, above named, on such terms and conditions as well as sureties as learned court may deem fit and proper. 6.
