The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No.738 of 2025 and B.A. No.8276 of 2025. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was merely a driver of the trailer and he is in custody since 05.04.2024. It has further been submitted that despite having been in custody for almost two years the charge has not yet been framed. Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. It appears from the allegation that 1586 Kgs. of Doda was recovered from the trailer which was being driven by the petitioner. Regard being had to huge quantity of Doda recovered, I am not inclined to reconsider the prayer for bail of the petitioner. The same is hereby rejected once again at this stage.
