The petitioner is an accused in connection with Kasmar P.S. Case No. 4 of 2025 corresponding to S. T. No. 174 of 2025. It has been alleged that the son of the informant was shot at by unknown miscreants. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the confession of a co-accused namely, Chhote Lal Nayak. He further submits that some of the co-accused persons have been granted bail by this court in B. A. Nos. 10164 of 2025 and 3825 of 2025. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the informant has submitted while referring to the case diary that initially Chhote Lal Nayak had confessed subsequent to which the petitioner has also confessed and on the basis of their confessional statements, the murder weapon was recovered and a seizure list was also prepared. On consideration of the fact that the petitioner was also instrumental in recovery of the murder weapon along with Chhote Lal Nayak, I am not inclined to admit the petitioner on bail.
