After some arguments, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he shall file an appeal before the Appellate Authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 (“Gratuity Act”). 2. However, he submits that since the petitioner is already facing recovery proceedings, he may be protected for a period of two (02) weeks, so that the petitioner can approach the Appellate Authority. 3. Accordingly, considering the submissions made before this Court, in order to enable the petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority, and file the statutory appeal thereto, it is directed that for a limited period of two (02) weeks, the recovery proceedings, including the Notice dated 16th June, 2026, issued by the Assistant Collector Grade-II, Office of the District Magistrate, This is a digitally signed order.
