JUSTICE N. UNNI KRISHNAN NAIR ORDER Date : 03.08.2026 Heard Mr. H.K. Jamoh, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. Kamduk, learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the State Respondents. 2. Considering the nature of order being passed today, issuance of notice Page No.# 3/4 upon the respondent nos.4, 5, 6 and 7, are not considered necessary. 3. The petitioner in the present writ petition has raised a grievance with regard to the delay occasioning in disposal of Execution Case No.1/2025, pending before the Additional District Commissioner, Mebo, East Siang District. In the present writ petition, it has been contended that hearing of the said execution petition was conducted on 28.08.2025 and thereafter, no orders has been passed, thereon, till the date of institution of the present writ petition. 4. The Additional Advocate General, appearing for the State Respondents, has on instructions has submitted that in view of the fact that the Additional District Commissioner, Mebo, was also after the hearing of the matter was so conducted, required to devote time as Charge Officer, Mebo Block, for the Census House Listing Operations also being entrusted with the duties of the Electoral Registration Officer, of 39-Mebo Assembly Constituency, with responsibilities relating to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls, he was not in position to pass orders in the matter. It is submitted that the said execution petition, would be disposed of within a outer limit of 02 (two) months after holding a fresh hearing in the matter. It is submitted that the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mebo, shall issue a notice in the matter to the parties within a week from today, scheduling a date of hearing and would dispose of Page No.# 4/4 the matter within the next 02 (two) months. 5. In view of the submissions made by Mr. D. Kamduk, learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the State Respondents, this Court disposes of the present writ petition with a direction to the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mebo, to issue a notice to the petitioner and other parties involved in the execution proceedings for holding a fresh hearing in the matter and schedule a date for the purpose within 01 (one) month from the date of issuance of the notice. Such notice be issued within 07 (seven) days from today. On the scheduled date of hearing, so fixed, all the parties be heard. On conclusion of hearing, the orders thereon, be passed within an outer limit of further 45 (forty five) days. 6.
