This Court, vide order dated 17.07.2025, passed in CRR No. 626 of 2019, while allowing the revision petition of applicants No. 2 and 3 (parents of applicant No.1) whereby rejected the revision petition of applicant No.1 (husband) namely, Jitendra Kumar Dewangan, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of passing of the order. 3. Earlier on one occasion also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 17.07.2025. 4. The learned III Civil Judge, Junior Division, Raigarh, District – Raigarh (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 09.02.2026 has requested for grant of three months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the present matter was initially listed awaiting the original record and thereafter continued to be listed for the same. Vide order dated 06.10.2025 passed in CRMP No. 3037 of 2025, this Court, was pleased to grant a further period of four months to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible. It further appears from the record that after receipt of the original record, the matter proceeded for applicant Evidence, however, during the course of proceedings several interlocutory applications were filed by the parties under various provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure, on which replies were sought and reasoned orders were passed from time to time. The 3 chief-examination and cross-examination of the applicant also took place on different dates and was ultimately completed on 16.12.2025. Thereafter, the matter was listed for remaining applicant Evidence, however, the applicant could not produce further evidence. It is also reflected from the record that the original record of the case was transmitted to the Court of the learned Sessions Judge, Raigarh, in connection with Appeal No. 97/2025 (Jitendra vs. Niti & Others) and was received back only on 07.02.2026, which also contributed to the delay in further progress of the trial. Therefore, considering the aforesaid circumstances, he prays for grant of further three months’ time to conclude the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
