1. This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs:-
“10.1 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, thereby directing the respondent authorities to provide medical reimbursement to the petitioner to the tune of Rs. 5,01,600/- towards treatment of his father, with interest from the date of entitlement to its actual payment. 10.2 That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of the cost of the petition may be given.”

Learned counsel for State submits that office of Commissioner Health Education vide letter dated 31.12.2025 had intimated senior Superintendent of Police, district – Bilaspur about approval of the medical reimbursement claim of employees including the petitioner. He submits that the claim of 64 employees have been approved and name of petitioner finds place at serial no. 64. She further submits that in view of decision taken by concerned authorities on claim of petitioner, this writ petition is rendered infructuous.

Considered the submission made by learned counsel for State as also the documents placed before this Court, i.e. letter dated 31.12.2025 wherein medical reimbursement claim of petitioner against the treatment done at private hospital amounting to Rs. 5,01,600/- has been approved, this writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
