HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 6098 of 2026 Court No. - 53 HON'BLE VIKAS BUDHWAR, J.
1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned Standing Counsel.
2. The present contempt petition has been preferred alleging non-compliance of the order dated 15.12.2025 passed in Writ A No. 18858 of 2025 which required the opposite party to consider the application of the applicant.
3. Today instructions have been produced while annexing a copy of the order dated 07.05.2026 which is already available on record at page-28 of the contempt application.
4. Though the learned counsel for the applicant has sought to argue on the merits of the matter while contending that there is no fault attributed to the applicant for non-payment of the monetary benefits, then too the representation has been decided in a very cursory and casual manner.
5. In the opinion of the Court, once an order of the writ court was to decide the claim and the same stood decided then this Court is not required to delve into the merits of the matter in contempt jurisdiction, particularly, when remedy lies elsewhere not the contempt jurisdiction.
6. Accordingly, the contempt application is consigned to record. September 30, 2026 Ashu Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Pramod Kumar (Saxena) Counsel for Opposite Party(s) :
