The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayer: "i. Quash the entire proceedings pending consideration before the Hon'ble Principal District and Session Court (Special Judge) at Chitradurga, in Spl.C(PC).No.04/2018 arising our of Crime No.1/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 7, 13(1)(d) r/w 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. ii. Pass such other orders as this Hon'ble Court deems to fit in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would project various contentions and he be permitted to urge all these contentions before the concerned Court at the appropriate time. 4. The apprehension of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the concerned Court would not look into the law laid down by the Apex Court in plethora of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8595 CRL.P No. 8006 of 2024 judgments with regard to exoneration and departmental enquiry or otherwise. It is needless to observe that all the contentions urged by the petitioner before the concerned Court at the appropriate stage would merit an answer, while taking the issue to its logical conclusion. 5.
