COMMON ORDER:
Both these writ petitions are filed by the same petitioner and the issue involved in this writ petition is identical. Hence, I feel it appropriate to decide the issue involved in these writ petitions by way of a common order. 2. W.P.No.28235 of 2011 came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following prayer:
“…to issue any order, direction or writ particularly one in the nature of Writ of MANDAMUS under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, declaring the proceedings in Roc.No.P3/152/AEO(ARJ)/TML/2011 dated: 12-08-2011 passed by the respondents herein as illegal, arbitrary and opposed to Principles of Natural Justice and the same may be set aside and further direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to perform Abhishekam seva as per the tickets…”

W.P.No.28757 of 2011 came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following prayer:
“…to issue any order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the proceedings in Roc.No.P3/152/AEO(ARJ)/TML/2011 dated 12.08.2011 passed by the respondents herein as illegal, arbitrary and opposed to Principles of Natural justice and the same may be set aside and further direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to perform Abhishekam seva as per the tickets and pass…”

4. The petitioner herein claims that he resides in Rishikesh and as he is a devotee of Lord Venkateswara he visits Tirumala to have darshan. In the year 1980, the respondents started selling limited tickets for the Arjitha Sevas to a limited percentage of total number of tickets. In terms of the decision taken by the respondents, the petitioner booked tickets for Arjitha Seva to Lord Venkateswara till November, 2019. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent authorities, vide the impugned proceedings dated 12.08.2011 cancelled all the Arjitha seva tickets issued to the petitioner and directed the petitioner to furnish all the original Arjitha seva tickets issued in his favour so as to refund the amount to the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. 5. Perused the entire material available on record. It can be seen that the petitioner has booked tickets for Arjitha Seva to Lord Venkateswara till November, 2019. As the time period for which the petitioner has already booked Arjitha Seva tickets has elapsed, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause survives in these writ petitions. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondent authorities seeking refund of the amount by furnishing all the original tickets issued in his favour, if he has not received refund till date. 6. Accordingly, these writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. 6 VS,J W.P.Nos.28235 & 28757 of 2011
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in these Petitions shall stand closed. _____________________
