The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was working as fund collector under Sri Lakshmi Ammal Trust, run by the de facto complainant. The petitioner allegedly misappropriated the installment amounts collected from the members. Hence, this case. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was innocent and that he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that he is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court and he is ready to co-operate for investigation. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Govt Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner is working as a collection agent in the Sri Lakshmi Ammal Trust. Many of the self help group has invested amount in the Trust whereas the petitioner by creating fabricated receipt has swindled Rs.30 lakhs. He further submitted that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required to identity the layering of the money. Therefore, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 8556 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 into consideration of the totality of the circumstances, the nature of allegation against the petitioner and to find out the layering of money, the submission of the learned Govt Advocate (Crl.Side) that the essentiality of the custodial interrogation of the petitioner cannot be found faulted.
