Having argued the matter at some length, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that prior to the institution of the petition, the petitioners had even moved the Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, vide representation dated May 4, 2026 (Annexure-III) as regards their concerns and grievances. He submits that although some time has elapsed but the matter has not been taken cognizance by the authorities.
Served with advance copy of the petition, Mr. Mohsin S. Qadiri, learned Sr. AAG, is present in Court. He submits that without examining the matter on merits as also the question regarding the maintainability of the petition, the same be disposed of to enable the Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, to deal with the representation that is alleged to have been submitted by the petitioners and is pending consideration. It is submitted that if indeed any such representation is pending, the same shall be dealt with and appropriate orders at the earliest shall be passed.
Disposed of in the above terms.
