It is the contention of the petitioner that the application was filed by the petitioner in Form No.53 seeking regularisation of unauthorised occupation of 20 guntas of land in Survey No.129 of Kasagatta Village, Doddabelavangala Hobli, Doddaballapura Taluk, Bangalore Rural District, in the year 1998. However, when the Committee for regularisation of unauthorised occupation rejected the application, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the Assistant Commissioner and the Assistant Commissioner, while allowing the appeal and setting aside the order passed by the Committee, remanded the matter back to the Committee for reconsideration by order dated - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8998 WP No. 4384 of 2026 19.03.2025. However, the committee has not passed any order till date. 3. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to respondent No.1-Tahsildar, Doddaballapura Taluk and the Committee for regularisation of unauthorised occupation to reconsider the application in light of the orders passed by the Assistant Commissioner and pass necessary orders as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
