JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR O R D E R 30.07.2026 Mr. Sishir Dutta, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. S. Dutta, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that he has received appropriate reports from the respondent No.4, that is the Principal of college, to show that each of the candidates, whose applications were found to be in order, had been called for the interview by sending them intimation under registered post at the addresses given in the applications. He, therefore, submits that the college had made efforts to inform all the eligible candidates and thereafter, the interview was properly undertaken. Mr. A.R. Tahbildar, learned Standing Counsel for the Higher Education Department has submitted that when the question was raised before the college authorities during the inquiry, the college authorities failed to produce this records and therefore, the Director of Higher Education had required a re- advertisement for the post. Giving an give an opportunity to Mr. A.R. Tahbildar, learned counsel appearing for the Director of Higher Education Department to present the instructions on behalf of the college before the Director of Higher Education, I deem it fit to allow the respondent no.4 to bring on record, the documents produced today, by way of an affidavit, within a period of 10(ten) days from today.
