ORDER 31.07.2026 Heard Mr. B. Islam, learned counsel for the applicants and Mr. P. Barthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent.
2. This application, under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, is preferred by the applicants, namely, (i) Debojit Khaklari @ Hunkan Khaklary and (ii) Sri Montu Lahon; who have been apprehending arrest in connection with Sonari P.S.

registered
under
Sections 296/118(2)/109/309(6)/121(2)/324(6)/54 BNS, 2023, and this Court, vide order dated 12.06.2026, granted interim bail to the applicants.
3. It is also to be noted here that while granting interim bail vide order dated 12.06.2026, the case diary was called for. Today, Mr. Barthakur, learned APP submits that in the meantime, charge-sheet has been submitted by the police, being Charge-sheet No. 43/26, dated 21.06.2026, after completion of investigation and accordingly, Mr. Barthakur submits that the applicants may be
directed to appear before the learned Trial Court and apply for regular bail and this anticipatory bail application may be closed.
4. Having considered the submissions of the learned counsel for both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this application, by directing the applicants to appear before the learned Trial Court on or before 17.08.2026, and to apply for regular bail. And it is also provided that on such application being filed, the learned Trial Court shall consider the same in accordance with law.

5. Till then, the interim order granted to the applicants dated 12.06.2026, shall continue.
