This is an application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Surakhsa Sanhita, 2023, whereby the petitioners, 1. Jahuruddin and 2. Munnaf Ali as prayed for releasing them on bail after they were arrested on 27.04.2026 in connection with Sarthebari Police Station Case No.25 of 2025 registered under Sections 140(3)/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3. The allegation against the present petitioners are regarding gang rape/penetrative sexual assault committed upon the minor girl aged about 14 years of the informant. 4. The case has been charge-sheeted and as of now is at the stage of consideration of charge. 5. Having regard to the materials available in the case diary including the statement of the victim before the Magistrate, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected at this stage. 6.
