In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following relief(s):- “For quashing the order passed in Encroachment Case No. 4/2023-24 directing him to appear in person or through duly authorized person on his behalf to submit his written stand on 29.8.2023 at 11: 30 a.m. failing which ex parte order will be passed. 3. From the order passed in Encroachment Case No. 4/2023-24, it appears that only a notice has been issued to the petitioner to show cause as to why not an appropriate order be passed against him as the petitioner encroached 1.5 decimals of land. 4. Since the petitioner has only been noticed, it is the duty of the petitioner to appear in the Encroachment Case. Without filing a show cause and without putting his defence before the Circle Officer, Angara, Ranchi, the petitioner has rushed to this Court challenging the said notice. 5. In that view, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed. 6. Pending interlocutory applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
