Petitioner has filed this petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1.That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be please to issue writ /order/direction and grant appointment to the petitioner (Compassionate Appointment) on the post of Assistant Grade III from the initial date of appointment i.e. from 29.03.2016, in the interest of justice. 10.2. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be please to issue writ /order/direction to grant all the consequential benefit pursuant to the post of Assistant Grade III like Promotion, Increment and other benefits which the petitioner is entitled for from the initial date of appointment i.e. from 29.03.2016, in the interest of justice. 10.3. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be please to issue writ /order/direction to pay appropriate compensation for the hardship caused to the petitioner. 10.4. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be please to issue writ /order/direction to pay any other benefits which the petitioner is entitled for, in the interest of justice. 10.5. Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper, may also be passed in favour of the petitioner together with cost of the petition.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only praying for a 3 direction to respondent No.4 to take decision on petitioner’s representation, Annexure P-9, expeditiously. 3. Learned State Counsel would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and only praying for a direction to respondent No.4 to take decision on his pending representation, she is having no objection in grant of such relief. 4. Heard learned counsel for respective parties and perused the documents annexed with writ petition. 5. Taking into consideration facts and circumstances of case, limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, which is not opposed by learned counsel for respondent-State, without commenting anything on merits of petitioner's case, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.4 to consider and decide representation of petitioner dated 9.4.2024 (Annexure P-9) strictly in accordance with law expeditiously. 6.
