Petitioner, through the medium of this petition, seeks issuance of appropriate directions to the court of learned Additional Sessions Court, Budgam, for expeditious disposal/decision of the case titled “State Vs. Sameer Ahmad Dar & Ors.”, arising out of FIR No. 51/2019, registered at Police Station Beerwah, Budgam, under Sections 307, 336, 332, 353, 427 RPC. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid case, in which the petitioner is an accused, is being delayed in its final disposal, although the prosecution evidence was closed on 09.02.2026 and the petitioner, as accused, was examined in terms of Section 342 CrPC on 25.03.2026, whereafter, the matter was adjourned to 07.04.2026, 18.04.2026, 05.05.2026, 13.05.2026, and now stands listed on 03.06.2026. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has been recommended for appointment in the Health Department on compassionate grounds; however, due to the pendency of the aforesaid case, his security clearance has not been granted. Accordingly, the petitioner prays that the case be directed to be decided at the earliest. 4. In view of the aforesaid submissions and the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner in the present petition, the instant petition is disposed of at this motion stage with a request to the Trial Court, to expedite the final hearing of the case on the next date fixed, so as to conclude the trial at the earliest possible. 5.
