By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayers: “a) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents to ensure that the Petitioner is provided immediate, uninterrupted and free medical treatment, including medicines, diagnostic tests, hospitalization and all ancillary medical care, at the Dr. B.R.A. Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, or at any other appropriate Government hospital, as may be required; b) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents to forthwith process and sanction financial assistance to the Petitioner This is a digitally signed order. Mr. Satya Ranjan Swain, learned counsel appearing on behalf of R- 1/AIIMS, does not dispute that the medical condition of the petitioner is precarious. 3. The learned counsel appearing for R-3/GNCTD has drawn the attention of this Court to the Delhi Arogya Kosh Scheme, administered by the Directorate General of Health Services, Government of NCT of Delhi, and she submits that the petitioner is eligible to seek benefits under the said Scheme. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is presently residing in a Government shelter home and, therefore, the requirement of furnishing a domicile certificate for the purpose of availing the said scheme would no longer survive. He also states that all relevant documents, which the petitioner possesses, have already been annexed with the present petition. 5. In view of the precarious medical condition of the petitioner, it is directed that the petitioner herein shall be extended the benefit of the aforesaid Scheme, within a period of one week from today, under due intimation to the petitioner. 6. With the aforesaid directions, the present petition, along with all pending applications, stands disposed of. 7. The order be uploaded on the website forthwith. DR.
