The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the petitioner’s daughter and minor granddaughter before this Court. 2. The learned Standing Counsel has handed over a copy of the Status Report dated 06th July, 2026, which is taken on record. The Status Report states that the daughter and granddaughter of the petitioner were traced at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
