Dubey, Advocate ---- 04/20.01.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Koderma P.S. Case No.105 of 2025, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 317(2) and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Sections 12(1)(3) of Jharkhand Bovine Animals Protection of Slaughter Act, 2005 and Section 11(1)(d)(e) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 2005 pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Koderma. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the allegations are made of carrying bovine animals in Bolero pickup van. He further submits that the petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the said van and the allegation is made that the petitioner was the person who has booked the said bovine animals for transportation. He then submits that the petitioner has got no 2026:JHHC:1497 --2-- A.B.A. No. 281 of 2026 criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.13 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has been taken by apprehended accused persons. 5. Considering that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.13 of the petition and only allegation is made that the said bovine animals were booked by the petitioner, I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Koderma in connection with Koderma P.S.
