Mr. Sanjay Vashishtha, counsel appearing on advance notice on behalf of the respondent/Election Commission of India (‘ECI’) submits that vide notices dated 12th May, 2026 (Annexure P-4 to the writ petition) and 23rd June, 2026 (Annexure P-6 to the writ petition), it has been communicated to the petitioner that the name proposed by the petitioner for its political party resembles the name of two existing political parties. The petitioner was called upon to respond to the said notices and also furnish alternate names. However the petitioner has failed to respond to the said notices. 4. Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that a response to the said notice dated 23rd June, 2026 shall be filed within one (1) week from today. 5. Upon receiving a response, the respondent/ECI shall pass a speaking order after giving a personal hearing to the petitioner. 6. The writ petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 7.
