Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 11.06.2024 passed in B.A. No.1881 of 2024 on merit. The petitioner- abovenamed, who is in custody since 24.07.2023 has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No.100 of 2023 (S.T. No.10 of 2024) for the offence registered under Section 304B of the IPC . It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is in custody for more than two years and he has no criminal antecedent. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. It is submitted that the matter involves causing death of the deceased by this petitioner who happens to be her husband by throttling in reference to dowry demand. Considering the nature of allegation and gravity of offence, there is no fresh ground, as such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby, again rejected. (Gautam Kumar Choudhary, J.)
