Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following writ petition:- “1. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents to release the arrears of 7th Pay Commission due to the petitioner for the ALFIZA BAIG Digitally signed by ALFIZA BAIG Date: 2026.03.18 18:03:09 +0530 2 / 3 period 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2018 as per Government Order dated 06.10.2018, within a time bound manner; 2. Direct the respondents to pay interest @ 12% per annum on the delayed payment from the date of accrual till the actual date of payment; 3. Grant any other relief(s) as may be deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, including cost of litigation.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is entitled for benefit of 7th Pay Scale, however, petitioner during period of service was not paid the said pay scale, therefore, petitioner has submitted representation before respondent no. 3 for making payment of his retirement dues calculating it with 7th Pay Scale, which is pending consideration and, therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 3 to consider and take decision on pending representation at the earliest, within specified time frame. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that she is not representing for respondent no. 3. 4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for respective parties, nature of grievance and particularly, the representation submitted by petitioner before respondent no. 3 which is still pending consideration, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, directing respondent no. 3 to consider and take decision on pending representation Annexuer P-3 dated 19.05.2020, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of four months from the date of receipt of representation. 5. Petitioner is also permitted to submit fresh comprehensive representation and in the event petitioner submit such representation, it 3 / 3 shall also be considered along with the pending representation, in accordance with the law as observed above. 6.
