Petitioner is serving as Senior Administrative Officer in Sainik Kalyan Vibhag. She was transferred from Dehradun to Tehri Garhwal vide order dated 30.06.2025, which is under challenge in this writ petition. 3. Learned State Counsel submits that petitioner remained posted at Dehradun continuously for 27 years, which is a sugam (accessible place), therefore, as per Transfer Policy, she became liable for transfer to durgam (inaccessible place) and accordingly she was transferred to Tehri. Thus he submits that there is no illegality whatsoever in petitioner’s transfer order. 4. He further submits that petitioner has joined duties at the transferred place on 01.08.2025, therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition. 5. This Court do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned transfer order. 6. Law is well settled that transfer is an 2026:UHC:759 incidence of service and since petitioner holds a transferrable post and her transfer was made as per condition of her service and there is no allegation of any ill will or malice against transferring authority nor there is any serious infraction of the applicable statutory provisions dealing with transfer. 7. Thus, this Court do not find any reason to interfere in the matter. The writ petition fails and is dismissed.
