Also heard Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Surakhsa Sanhita, 2023, whereby the petitioners namely, 1. Tutumoni Das @ Pooja and 2. Anil Kedu Jadhav @ Sagar as prayed for releasing them on bail after they were arrested in connection with Simla Police Station Case No.13 of 2026 registered under Sections 143(5)/144 (1)/127(4)/61(2) (a)/3(5) BNS read with Section 3/4/5/6 Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act read with Section 6/17 of POCSO Act. 3. Notice to respondent No.2 is not yet complete. But the said respondent No.2 is a Police Officer/informant. Hence, he is represented by learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4. The allegations against the petitioners pertain to the operation of a prostitution racket in Nashik, Maharashtra. It is alleged that, for the said purpose, the victims in the present case were lured from Assam to Nashik and were thereafter engaged in prostitution. 5. The case has been charge-sheeted and the scanned copy of the TCR has been received. 6. Upon perusal of the statements of the victims finds sufficient incriminating materials against the petitioners. Hence, the prayer for bail stands Page No.# 3/3 rejected at this stage. 7. Accordingly, the Bail Application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
