1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:
“10.1That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the name of the petitioner for promotion on the post of the principal w.e.f. 30.04.2025 with all consequential benefits of services etc. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an, order, or direction to the respondent no. 3 to decide the representation preferred by the petitioner before him on 26.06.2025 at the earliest preferably within a period of 15 days. ” 10.3 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issued appropriate writ and direct the respondents to decide the pending representation of the petitioner for promotion on the post of principal. 10.3 This Hon’ble Court may further be pleased to pass an appropriate order or issue writ as deemed fit under the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is working as a headmaster of middle school and has became eligible for promotion. Respondents have initiated proceedings for promotion of head master/lecturer to the post of Principal however, the petitioner was not promoted and juniors to him were promoted against which petitioner has submitted representation before respondent no. 1 and 2 on 01.05.2025 and 13.11.2025 respectively, which till date is pending
consideration, therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 1 and 2
3 / 3 to consider and take decision on pending representation submitted by petitioner, expeditiously within a specified time frame.

Learned counsel for State submits that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking direction to respondent no. 1 and 2 to consider and take decision on pending representation, she is having no objection.
4. I have heard learned counsel for respective parties.

On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for respective parties without commenting anything on the merits of the case, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, directing respondent no. 1 and 2 to take decision on pending representation submitted by petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 06 weeks from the date of receipt of the order.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands
