JUSTICE PRANJAL DAS ORDER Date :30-07-2026 Heard Mr. K. Lollen, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. T. Ete, learned Additional PP for the State of Arunachal Pradesh. 2. This is an application filed by the petitioners under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking grant of pre-arrest bail apprehending their arrest in connection with Itanagar Women P.S. Case No. 48/2026 registered under Section 85 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3. The case of the petitioners is that based on a written First Information Report(FIR) lodged on 26.05.2026 before the Officer-in-Charge, Itanagar Women Police Station, alleging, inter alia, that the petitioners have subjected the complainant to physical assault, mental cruelty and domestic violence, the aforesaid police case has been registered against them. The petitioner in AB/68/2026 is the husband and the petitioners in the other three anticipatory bail applications are his family members. 4. The petitioners were granted interim bail on 22.06.2026 with conditions and CD was called for. 5. In this context, Mr. T. Ete, learned Addl. PP submits that in the meantime, the investigation has been completed and has resulted in a chargesheet vide CS No. 58/2026 under section 85 BNS. The Page No.# 4/4 communication received from the the IO may be kept on record. 6. It may be mentioned herein that Section 85 corresponds to earlier section 498 (A). In view of completion of investigation, I am of the considered view that the interim bail can be confirmed. 7. In such view of the matter, interim bail is hereby made absolute subject to the further conditions that:- (i) They shall be available for trial, if one commences; (ii) They shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence; (iii) They shall not intimidate, harm or harass the alleged victim in any manner whatsoever. 8.
