Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been reinstated in service yesterday, vide order dated 06th July, 2026, issued by the Delhi Transport Corporation (“DTC”), Sarojini Nagar Depot, Government of NCT of Delhi (“GNCTD”). At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that application being CM APPL. 41359/2026 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking release of an amount of Rs. 12,84,632/-, as deposited by the respondent vide DD No. 700131 dated 14th May, 2026, in favour of the petitioner. 4. It is to be noted that the said amount has been deposited by the respondent in terms of the Award dated 22nd August, 2017, towards 25% back wages. 5. Since, the petitioner already stands reinstated and the Special Leave Petition (Civil), bearing Diary No. 54959/2025, filed on behalf of the respondent already stands dismissed vide order dated 06th January, 2026, there is no impediment in directing the aforesaid amount to be released in favour of the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, it is directed that the amount of Rs. 12,84,632/-, along with accrued interest that has been deposited by the respondent, with the Registry of this Court, shall be released forthwith to the petitioner. 7. The petitioner/his counsel/Authorized Representative is directed to approach the Registry in this regard. 8. No further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. 9.
