The Court made the following: ORDER
Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.
2. Petitioner and Respondent No.1 are present.
3. Pursuant to the directions of this Court, the learned Mediator conducted the mediation proceedings and submitted a report. The said report is hereby accepted.
4. In view of the Mediator’s report, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of as compromised. Consequently, the conviction and sentence passed by the learned V Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tirupati, in C.C.No.315 of 2018, dated 17.11.2021, as confirmed in Crl.A.No.40 of 2021, dated 25.07.2024, by the learned V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tirupati, are set aside, as a result, the Petitioner is acquitted under Section 320(8) of ‘the Cr.P.C’. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has paid an amount of Rs.1,50,000/- before the learned Trial Court pursuant to the directions given by this Court. In view of the compromise affected between the parties, Respondent No.1 is at liberty to withdraw the said amount without producing sufficient surety before the learned Trial Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
