1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:
“10.1 Hon’ble Court may be kind and gracious enough to call for the records of the case from the respondents. 10.2 Hon’ble Court may be kind to issue an appropriate writ,

2 / 3 release the petitioner’s rightful financial dues, including Ex- Gratia, EPF, Group Insurance Amounts and all other service- related benefits, payable to the petitioner. 10.3 Any other relief/relief’s which Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the instant case.”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the husband of petitioner died in harness on 23.04.2021 during Covid-19 pandemic. Though the petitioner was granted compassionate appointment, however, death cum retiral dues of her husband was not released/disbursed in her favor. Petitioner had made several requests and subsequently have served with a notice dated 11.07.2025, however, till date no decision has been taken by respondents on her claim.

Learned counsel for State submits that as petitioner has already served with a notice and if no decision has been taken on the requests made by petitioner, appropriate decision will be taken in this regard.
4. I have heard learned counsel for respective parties.

On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for respective parties and further considering that the claim of petitioner is due since 2021, instead of keeping this writ petition pending, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, directing respondent no. 2 and 3 to take decision on the claim of petitioner based on the notice served by petitioner through her advocate on 11.07.2025, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 03 weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

6. Petitioner will be at liberty to submit fresh comprehensive representation and, if, such a representation is submitted, the said representation shall also be considered as ordered above.
7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands
